Founded by Reading Specialist and Certified Orton Gillingham Educator Carly Wilson, our work combines research based methods with a nurturing, student centered approach. Every lesson is tailored to how each child learns best, creating a space where they can make real progress and feel supported every step of the way.

Our vision is to create a dynamic and inclusive learning center that serves the Greater Ohio Valley and beyond, offering comprehensive support across a wide range of academic needs and subject areas. We envision a space where students of all ages can access high-quality, personalized instruction. Whether they are building foundational literacy and math skills, tackling challenging coursework, or exploring enrichment opportunities. Rooted in the science of reading and grounded in research-based practices, our center will foster a community of lifelong learners, empower families with resources and support, and partner with educators to provide meaningful, individualized learning experiences that help every learner thrive.

How We Stand Apart

Orton-Gillingham Expertise

We provide direct and explicit literacy instruction grounded in the science of reading. Our diagnostic and prescriptive approach is structured and multisensory, designed to support readers with diverse needs, including those with dyslexia and other learning differences.

Individualized Support

We don’t do one-size-fits-all. We offer informal diagnostic testing that leads to every lesson, tool, and resource being carefully tailored to each child’s unique needs, learning style, and pace. We build instruction around them, not the other way around.

Carly Wilson

Hi, I’m Carly Wilson. I earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education from West Liberty University and stayed to complete my Master’s Degree as a Reading Specialist. I’m also TESOL certified, and I spent a year teaching English in Thailand, which was one of the most memorable and meaningful chapters of my teaching journey.

I’ve been a classroom teacher for ten years, working across subjects and grade levels, and I love the variety and connection that comes with that. Literacy has always been my passion, so I continued to deepen my training with LETRS and over 100 hours of Orton Gillingham coursework, along with a 50 hour practicum. I’m currently in the process of completing my Associate level and plan to move on to the Clinical level because I truly believe in being a lifelong learner.

I’m all about meeting students where they are, celebrating growth, and helping every child feel confident and capable as a learner.

Our daughter thrived from the individual attention private tutoring provides. The tutors were patient and helpful. Our daughter’s word recognition and reading fluency improved. She is now a more confident reader and motivated to continue reading more on her own at home.
